Telstra Business Technology Centre

  • Tamworth Based

Full Time - Monday to Friday

The Haddcorp Group own and operate Technology and Telco businesses across NSW and WA, including two Telstra Business Technology Centres, Northern NSW and Central Coast NSW.

With our head office in Tamworth, we are a locally owned and operated business employing over 100 staff across across Australia. Our Business Technology Centres provide Telstra Business Customers support with their IT and communications solutions from the Central Coast to Queensland.

We are looking for a customer centric, communications superstar to join our team at our head office as a full time phone-based receptionist.

Reporting to the Fulfilment Manager, the role involves being the first point of contact for all inbound customer calls, ensuring that the customer experience with our businesses is of highest standard

Our new receptionist will answer between 200-250 calls per day for both of our business centres, be responsible for triaging the customer enquiry, utilising our internal CRM, and transferring calls to the appropriate department or staff member.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all inbound calls and transferring appropriately according to handling time KPIs
  • Gaining an understanding of the customer’s enquiry through effective questioning and active listening
  • Utilising our internal CRM to identify customer activities and triage enquiries
  • Management of customer expectations
  • Maintaining data accuracy while utilising Telstra Systems and an internal CRM
  • Other ad hoc general administration and support tasks as requested

  • You have the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders
  • You are motivated and driven to provide superior customer experiences
  • You have great time management skills and the ability to work in a time-bound role
  • You are positive, enthusiastic and a team player
  • You have a high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • You have excellent objection handling and complaints management skills
  • You have a keen interest in learning and using new technologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures with high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry or experience in a similar role is an advantage

This is a full time with working hours 8:30am til 5pm Monday to Friday.
