Entourage has set up a new (but kinda old) office in Coffs Harbour.
We’ve officially settled into our new Entourage office in Coffs Harbour - and while it might not win any design awards just yet, Bailey and I are quietly stoked with it. It’s simple, practical, and has everything we need (and nothing we don’t). Might be a new setup for Entourage, but is also the same office Haddcorp Group had a few years ago as an office for our Coffs Telstra Business Technology Centre team.
The setup includes space for four staff with docks and all the usual gear, plus a meeting room. Admittedly, it’s a little low-tech - no video conferencing in the boardroom - but we’ve found a solid workaround. We turn off the lights and hold strategy sessions with stick people. They’re surprisingly convincing.
We’ve already had a steady stream of familiar faces come through the door:
Russell, Jonathon, Hayley and Jeremy, Taylah, Nathan - even the Pope has dropped by (strictly to bless the place after the evil of Telstra lingered in the walls).
What this new space really gives us is a stronger presence in the area. Being local means we’re closer to the people and projects that matter here, and it’s made collaboration easier and more natural. There’s also the benefit of a much better separation between work and life - something both Bailey and I have appreciated since making the move.
And of course, no Entourage outpost would be complete without a local food ritual. Each week we hit up the local kebab shop (though technically we’re ordering Mediterranean salad wraps - much healthier, obviously). The staff know our orders by heart now, and we’re leaning into the Mediterranean lifestyle one wrap at a time.
If you’re ever in Coffs, drop by and say g’day. Stick people meetings are strictly optional. You'll find us at Suite 2-4, 22 Park Ave, Coffs Harbour.
